Minnesota premier CLE on environmental issues, the 2011 Environmental Institute sponsored by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2011, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The seventh annual seminar will feature presentations by Minnesota’s leading environmental lawyers on new developing areas of the environmental and energy law practice.
Hessian & McKasy Environmental Law Attorney Practice Group Chair Joseph Maternowski will present a morning session “CERCLA and MERLA Update” discussing federal and state case law developments related to the cleanup of contaminated property under federal and state environmental laws. Joe Maternowski will return for an afternoon session, “RCRA Basics,” which is a course offering related to the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) the federal law regulating the generation, management, storage, treatment and disposal of hazardous wastes.
