Joseph G. Maternowski is an environmental lawyer who practices exclusively in the areas of environmental and administrative law. Joseph G. Maternowski provides clients with advice on a range of matters involving environmental issues. He is routinely involved in business and real estate transactions including review of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and participation in state voluntary cleanup programs. Mr. Maternowski helps clients resolve environmental compliance issues in enforcement and permitting proceedings before federal and state administrative agencies. He serves as outside environmental counsel to companies with operations across the country. Mr. Maternowski is involved in litigation relating to contaminated property including insurance coverage matters. He also assists clients in developing environmental and health and safety audit and management programs.

Mr. Maternowski publishes widely on the topic of environmental liability and environment, health and safety. He is a frequent lecturer to business groups and trade associations on environmental liability. Mr. Maternowski is admitted to practice in Minnesota and the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota.
